In compliance of the orders of the Hon’ble Apex Court, the Council resolves and finalizes the following schedule for the elections of the different State Bar Councils.

Election Schedule for the State of Uttar Pradesh

It is a big state and here the elections are held in 4 different phases therefore the following schedule is being fixed.

1. 24.01.2018 è Publication of Notice in Official Gazette and two Daily Newspapers one in English and another in Regional Language
2. 27.01.2018 è Filing of Nomination
3. 13.02.2018 è Last date for receipt of nomination
4. 20.02.2018 è Last date of withdrawal of nomination
5. 27.02.2018 è Publication of final list of candidates
6. 15 & 16.03.2018 è Date of Election (Phase-1)
19 & 20.03.2018 è Date of Election (Phase-2)
23 & 24.03.2018 è Date of Election (Phase-3)
27 & 28.03.2018 è Date of Election (Phase-4)
