*2nd Of October* – A special day
Children celebrated *155th Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti* with full zest and enthusiasm.
They also highlighted the followings of *our second prime minister Lal Bahadur Shastri* a true follower of Gandhism.
The children looked very cute as “Mahatma Gandhi” Children wore caps to create the receding Bapu, horn-rimmed glasses, stick and white dhoti. *Children sang the song and rhymes*
The students and teachers held a *special assembly to commemorate the Mahatma’s & Shastri ji ‘s* life and teachings . The day began with garlanding followed by
special speeches with Gandhian quotes and messages by the children which brought the gathering to understand more about this iconic leader.
The teachers discussed the importance of this day ,their role which led India towards progress and *Independent India*, explained that the three wise monkeys referred ,teach us three rules to follow. These rules are- *See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil”*.
The school’s ambience and displays ,beautiful crafts by little ones brought out the essence of the celebration.
