*Red Day Celebration in Montessori*
The Red Day celebration in Montessori was not just fun but filled with abundant learning. Red symbolizes enthusiasm, life, and vitality, and the entire day revolved around this vibrant color.
The classrooms and EPL areas were beautifully decorated with red items, creating a red-themed environment. *Children participated in activities like hand impressions, nail painting, and tattoos, which were the center of attraction*. They listened to the story Red Balloon and recited poems about red. In art and craft, they created strawberry art using earbud impressions and made red-themed bags.
*To develop scientific temperament, children observed flour change color when mixed with red.* A sensory tub with red objects and creative bulletin board displays further engaged the children.
Children brought red-colored snacks in their tiffins and looked stunning in red outfits, as did the teachers, staff, and parents who joined in the celebration. Parents also visited the classrooms during dispersal to witness the excitement.
The day was a spectacular success, filled with joy, love, and learning, leaving everlasting memories for our little ones.
